Our Commercial Kitchen

Brass City Harvest’s extensive, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen was designed as a food processing (co-packing) facility. We provide licensing, labor, packaging, and labeling necessary to transform raw ingredients into value-added products and institutional frozen food packs.

The kitchen features large-scale food processing equipment and can accommodate retailers, enabling sellers to create new products from B-grade produce into sauces, salsas, jams, etc. This helps prevent these items from getting pitched into compost, and it helps farmers recognize new revenue by either selling their produce to the food hub or by having their produce packaged into a new product under their label.

The commercial kitchen facilitates the creation of professional, unique, and authentic local food products and enables farmers to privately-label their own products, which increases the revenue stream for small farms.
